REDD+ project in the Puerto Zábalo y Los Monos Indigenous Reserve (624,590 ha total; 609,025 ha eligible forest under REDD+). Located in Solano, Caquetá, on the northern bank of the Caquetá River. Communities: Coemaní, Jerusalén, Quinché and Los Estrechos — ~244 families / 1,092 people of the Uitoto people. Estimated GHG reductions: 31,508,950 tCO₂e over 30 years (1,049,418 tCO₂e/year average) — of which 30,690,863 tCO₂e from avoided deforestation and 818,086 tCO₂e from avoided degradation. Deforestation drivers: agricultural frontier expansion (including illicit crops), alluvial mining, and timber extraction. Crediting period: 17 January 2018 – 16 January 2048.
