The community Forests

The Community Forests is an initiative for climate change mitigation and biodiversity conservation that unites local communities, environmental experts, and global partners to protect some of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet. Through REDD+ carbon credit projects and biodiversity credit initiatives co-developed with Indigenous and Afro-descendant communities, the platform addresses deforestation while safeguarding forest ecosystems and indigenous cultural heritage.
